I guess that the debate goes both ways. I did discover a few shows on HULU and in some ways it could make me really want to buy the DVD. Or else I will find a show loses my interest (most do) and I'm glad I had a chance to screen the stuff first.

Something, true, I noticed in my own online use or browsing books and entertainment to purchase online - always noticed those little ads were a total waste of time, or, worse, a distraction.

I wonder what changes will come about now that many homes do have personal computers and most everyone CAN get online or browse the 'Net via mobile phone.

Aaron -- Thanks for the write-up of The Book of Eli. I was unconvinced until your review. Now I have to see it. We need more fierce (accurate) and noble views of Christ. No more Mr. Rogers with sandals.

P.S. I'm still saving for the site re-design!

Personally, my poison of choice is Mt. Dew with a mocha coolatta from Dunkin' Donuts as a backup. But at least now I know what to expect from McD's!

Let me tell you, the difference in some really good shaving cream and the store bought stuff is unbelievable!!!! Try taking some Billy Jealousy Hydroplane Shave Cream and compare it to the normal Barbasol or Gilette, there is NO comparision. Try it for yourself, don't take my word for it!!

Hey Aaron. I agree. The new logo is friendlier. The old one had a real stiff blandness about it. What I really don't like is not the logo, it's the company.

Aaron, I could not agree more. I think the whole assumption that an artist should be willing to do work for free needs to be run out of town and shot. Having designers not willing to ask for what they are really worth just leads to things like this. And I can see why Jeffrey was so angered. Sites like Threadless lead to creativity where spec sites just clutter the world with beggars.

Clients need to realize the true worth of good design. I am up against this for all sorts of projects. Recently someone wanted me to do a video project for 50 bucks that would have taken me at least 6 hrs to hack. When I gave my rates they were shocked. Basically they wanted me to earn 4 dollars an hour after expenses. Nice. Ok I am done ranting.

I am with you Aaron. I did like the reboot of the series with Casino Royal. A new, more complex, Bond. I was hoping for more of that. While Quantum was good, it was more dizzy action and large organizations betrying each other than it was character development. I feel like it landed half way between the new Bond and the old.
